Opis ofertyHSBC Service Delivery (Polska) Sp. z o.o. is HSBC’s global finance, operations, risk and technology centre. We use our unique expertise and capabilities to provide specialised services – our people range from technologists transforming the banking experience to operations professionals managing 1.7 trillion payments a year.
Our Purpose – Opening up a world of opportunity – explains why we exist. We are bringing together the people, ideas and capital that nurture progress and growth, helping to create a better world – for our customers, our people, our investors, our communities and the planet we all share.
At HSBC, technology is at the core of our commitment to building a seamless, intuitive banking experience for customers worldwide, helping to drive innovation and operational excellence. As the financial world evolves, we use cutting-edge technologies to boost efficiency, simplify processes, and strengthen risk management, keeping us ahead in a changing landscape.
This summer internship programme gives you the opportunity to kickstart your career in technology at HSBC. You’ll gain a real-life insight into how our teams work together on a range of projects. If you recognise yourself in the qualities below, then you’ll thrive in this role:
•Team player: You enjoy working with others and can bring people together to solve problems – even when they have different priorities or ways of working.
•Clear communicator: You’re comfortable explaining ideas in different ways – whether that’s in conversation or presentations.
•Problem solver: You like digging into data and processes, spotting gaps or opportunities, and thinking about how things could work better.
•Resilient under pressure: You stay focused when things get busy, manage your time well, and don’t give up when faced with a challenge.
•Proactive mindset: You’re someone who takes responsibility, follows things through, and looks for ways to make an impact – even if you’re not the decision maker.
What you’ll do
During your internship, depending on the team you join, you might be focussing on one or two projects, or getting involved in lots of different ones. Here’s a flavour of what you could get involved in:
•Join our Business Analyst community, who are supporting the design of innovative solutions that meet real business needs.
•Attend meetings to help you understand stakeholder needs, then turn them into clear, understandable requirements for our Developers and Engineers.
•Work in agile teams to keep projects moving, analyse new information, and contribute insights that shape outcomes.
•Help our Business, Product and Engineering teams bring new ideas to life, and understand the journey they follow from early concepts to full delivery.
•Analyse data and processes to spot gaps, risks or opportunities to make things better.
•Practise adapting your communication style for different audiences, from stakeholders to technical teams and support functions.
What you’ll learn
Over 10 weeks, you’ll join a specific team and see first-hand how business analysis drives decision-making at HSBC. You’ll get stuck in from day one, working on projects that have a real impact.
You’ll combine technical training, skills coaching, and hands-on work to build your confidence and capability. You’ll leave with an understanding of technology concepts, reporting, and trends – and how they influence big business decisions.
By the end of the programme, you’ll have the basic tools, knowledge, and confidence to take your next step – and if you perform well, you could secure your place on our graduate programme to continue your career in Technical Business Analysis at HSBC.

You’re a great candidate if you have these:
You meet our criteria if you’re a penultimate year student of any academic background, you’re passionate about a career in technology or finance, proficient in English and legally permitted to work in Poland.
